BAM BIZHUB furnishes an educational foundation as an essential component to building an appropriate path while expanding knowledge and skills. In addition, scholarships are an incredible source of financial assistance to reduce financial stress, enabling students to focus on their studies and classroom requirements while increasing personal motivation and determination. 

Purpose

 

The principle encourages opportunity, nourishing a solid educational foundation that empowers students and inspires them to become successful business owners. The BAM Entrepreneur Scholarship aims to support high school Seniors and early-stage college students interested in creating a business, growing local employment, and boosting economic activities from an innovative approach. Entrepreneur education should intensify teamwork, collaboration, and collectively analyzing data to solve complex problems while remaining curious and creative. 

 

BAM is excited to offer this scholarship, emphasizing entrepreneurship-focused curricula applicable to business management, business administration, marketing, communication, accounting, and finance. The applied curriculum is necessary to navigate economic uncertainty while anticipating market growth.  

Qualifications

The scholarship is to assist students who seek to study entrepreneurship-focused programs. Such approved applications include increasing business knowledge, performance, revenue streams, and profits, with an understanding of strategy. Other engaging courses should improve competencies in analyzing information clearly and logically. Many business courses support the mentioned programs while promoting assertiveness to accomplish objectives and goals.

 

The qualifications include the following;

  • Must be a minimum of 17 years of age

  • Be a Senior in High School or attending college. 

  • Currently maintaining a 2.75 GPA.

  • Live in the Permian Basin area. 

  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree in the field of Business, Marketing, Accounting, or Finance from the following colleges
     

    • Howard College

    • Odessa College

    • Midland College

    • UTPB
       

  • Provide a letter of commitment to your selected local college or proof of enrollment.

Must complete the mandated Scholarship Application and follow directions to the letter.

    • Cover page is recommended, but not a requirement. 

    • Describe yourself, tell us who you are, likes and dislikes. 

    • What were your most significant challenges you have overcome in both life and school?

    • What are your greatest accomplishments?

    • Community - Do you volunteer, work with the district, a church, or a nonprofit.

    • What would this scholarship mean to you?

  • Enclose your Résumé.

  • Enclose your most recent transcript to verify GPA.
