Professional Experience

​Patrecia K. Okoye is a native Houstonian. She attended the Houston public schools where her natural leadership abilities clearly stood out.
 

Patrecia attended Texas Southern University. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. Patrecia worked in the Houston Independent School District for 15 years. During her tenure in education, Patrecia worked in different roles in increasing responsibility. She was a middle school math teacher, Math Instructional Coordinator, and later a consultant with the Houston Independent School District. Patrecia continued her education at the University of Houston where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. In her accounting experience, she has worked for several industries such as education, Electrical Distributors, Texas Comptroller’s Office, hospitals, and the energy industry. Patrecia is also a CPA candidate.

• In the community, Patrecia and her family volunteered and provided a commercial skit for the Midland YMCA. She is an active board member for her HOA and social committee. Above it all, Patrecia always has time for family. She is the soccer coach for her daughter’s MSA team.
   

• Patrecia is a well-rounded individual with excellent work and social skills.
